Alan H. Conklin Business Aviation Management Scholarship
The Alan H Conklin Business Aviation Management Scholarship is one of the several scholarships granted every year by National Business Association a well known organization and has been a reliable source which has helped many companies for their successful growth in aviation industry.
The scholarship was established by Conklin & de Decker in co-ordination with NBAA for undergraduates pursuing their careers in business aviation management.
The scholarship is named after Al Conklin a U.S Air Force veteran and business aviation leader for more than 60 years. The 2010 NBAA & Conklin & de Decker will award a student $ 5,000 who fulfills all the eligibility criteria and is enrolled in an aviation management program at a University Aviation Association (UAA) member school.

Eligibility Requirement:
- Must be U.S Citizen or permanent resident
- Candidate must be a full time undergraduate sophomore, junior or senior officially enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an aviation management program at a UAA member school for the 2010-2011 academic year. (UAA membership number is must)
- Must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale
Along with the application you need to submit following documents for the authority’s perusal
- An essay of 500 words describing your interest in and goals for a career in business aviation
- Official transcript
- Current resume of one page with permanent home address
- Two recommendation letters (one must be from the member of the aviation department faculty your are enrolled in & other from a person you feel is right person to comment on your aspirations and qualifications)
