Ohio University Getaway Award Program 2010
Ohio University is a Public Institution but thanks to the private donors who have from time to time supported with endowing scholarship awards. One such scholarship is Fall 2010 Getaway Award Program for first year students. The scholarship is the combination of need based aid and merit and is awarded to those who fall in this category.
The Scholarship has six categories:
Gateway Excellence Scholarship: Those with g.p.a of 3.0 (4.0)scale with a ACT composite score of 32 or combined math and critical reading SAT score of at least 1400. This is a four year renewable scholarship. This Scholarship is valued at In-State Tuition.
Getaway Scholarship: Getaway Scholarship is four-year renewable scholarship purely based on academic merit. Award amount varies.
Getaway Grant: this grant is based on both academic merit and need. One should be meritorious as well as needy. Award amount varies.
Getaway Trustee Award: Those with g.p.a of 3.0 (4.0) scale with a ACT composite score of 25 or with altheast 1130 score of combined math and critical reading SAT. It is a four year renewable scholarship and a discount of $ 6000 is applied to non-Ohio resident. The Scholarship amount is $ 500
Ohio University Bob Cat Grant: this scholarships do not consider merits but is awarded as per FAFSA as a student with highest need.
